**URGENT** We are seeking an Experienced Junior Management to join one of our clients Exclusive Private Nature Reserve,
A minimum of 2 years' experience in similar position/s and the ability to be completely hands on in this small but very busy operation.
(Experience as Guide and FOH). Need to be Team players,
Flexible and willing to do a wide scope of different duties, work within a staff unit.
Must be committed to consistent attention to the finer details,
Maintaining consistency in set standards and strive for nurturing excellent customer relationships.
FOR HER:
Assisting in the Management of and overseeing of staff, continued assessment and training were required.
Assisting with the Management of staff, continued assessment and training where required.
Assisting with the Management of Central stores and stock control ( stock takes, ordering, rotation, par levels, etc) working in conjunction with Chefs. Compiling and placing orders, checking in of stock items.
Involvement in kitchen and food operations, planning of menus, special request and requirements and related orders.(Experience in this aspect would be beneficial but not essential).
Hosting of Guests, including Lock up duty on roster basis.
Assisting Management with and Supervision of camp preparation for Guests (checking rooms, attention to detail and special touches and creativity to optimise guest experience).
Participating in external activities eg; Sundowners, pancake stops, etc
Strong general admin experience (balancing petty cash, distribution of gratuities)
Strong pro active support to Lodge Manager, General Manager and the filling in for FOH team members when on leave.
Must be able to multi task with a pro active, hands on management style and have the ability to make contingency plans.
Weekly town trips when required. Valid drivers license.
FOR HIM:
Guiding Qualifications: at least FGASA LEVEL 1, FGASA LEAD TRAILS GUIDE (or close to)& FGASA ARH qualifications, LEVEL 1 FIRST AID CERTIFICATE & PRDP or NQF2 including 8440 and 8478 and VPDA, LEVEL 1 FIRST AID CERTIFICATE & PRDP.
CATHSSETA CERTIFICATE and valid registration with NDT.
SASSETA rifle proficiency certificate of a minimum .375 calibre rifle, Unit Standard 117705, Unit Standard 123519, Unit Standard 119651 ( if using personal rifle, must have "for business purpose license" and must be valid.
Management and overseeing of Staff.
Assisting with Lodge Manager function, together with Management Team when Lodge Manager is on leave. Overall support for Lodge Manager and General Managers.
Assisting with the Management of Central Stores, Beverages , Bar and Wine stock. Administrative duties as per position.
Overseeing all aspects of property Maintenance and upkeep according to Company Standards.
Hosting of guests, including lock up duty on roster basis.
Overseeing all camp preperation for guest, keen attention to detail and guest experience.
Weekly town trips. Valid Drivers License.
Strong Pro active Management style, able to trouble shoot and multi task. TEAM PLAYER.
