PAYROLL SUPPORTER TO NOVO NORDISK

By joining Payroll in Novo Nordisk, you will become part of a team that; ensures that salaries are correct and paid in due time and provides guidance to questions related to salary, vacation, maternity/paternity leave and time registration.


The position
You will be responsible for payroll processes in close collaboration with your colleagues. You will handle cases and telephone calls from employees regarding their salary, pension, taxation, vacation, and maternity/paternity leave. We have app. 35.000 cases/calls a year.


Your main responsibilities can be:

  • Hotline support
  • Handling cases in ServiceNow
  • Day-to-day tasks such as payments, registration of hours, etc.
  • Taking care of GDPR and archives
  • Ad hoc tasks including purchasing goods and services


Qualifications

We do not expect you to have extensive payroll experience, but that you have a big interest in learning about the payroll processing and would like to take your career further by pursuing a role in an international company, with affiliates in more than 100 countries.


To thrive and succeed in the role:

  • It is an advantage to have experience with SAP HR and ServiceNow, but not a requirement.
  • As our support is required in both English and Danish, it is a requirement that you are fluent in both languages – written and spoken.
  • The role includes many requests from Line of Business, so you need to have the drive to handle a large volume of tasks.

As a person:

  • Two days are not alike, so the role requires you to be adaptable and flexible in a busy environment.
  • You are service minded and like to support your colleagues as well as stakeholders.
  • You are recognised as a team player and are focused on securing a good collaboration with your colleagues, despite their differences in competences as well as personal profiles.
  • You bring a healthy sense of humour to your work – even when the pressure is on.

About the department
You will be joining Payroll, a team of 19 dedicated employees, who are handling salary for app. 27,000 employees at Novo Nordisk A/S and companies in the group. Payroll is placed within Corporate Accounting, a unit of Finance & Compliance at Novo Nordisk.


We have a diverse team in terms of background, seniority, and age, while focus is to utilise the individual competences most efficient and to foster an environment welcoming new view on current processes.


Every day, we strive at ensuring correct salary paid in due time, and for answering all payroll related questions from our colleagues in Denmark in close cooperation with partners in Corporate Accounting, People & Organisation and Global IT.
