How you will make an impact:
We seek a Jr. Accountant that will be responsible for the accounts receivable cycle and related tasks: generate invoices, send invoices to the customer, resolve customer queries, support month end closes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, and strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
What you will do:
- Full cycle invoicing – generating, booking, sending and reconciling
- Manage the timely, accurate monthly closing for accounts receivable tasks and records
- Assemble financial information for auditing
- Assist in reconciling ledgers, reports and accounting records
- Analyze, post activity and assist in reconciliation for intercompany accounts through active coordination with the sister sites
- Investigate and resolve customer queries
- Perform ad hoc analysis as necessary as well monitor AR-related KPIs
- Participate in projects and develop process/system improvements that increase efficiency and effectiveness
Education
- Commercial Education Background (KV)
Experience
- 1-3 years accounts receivable/general accounting experience in an international environment
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Prior experience within Accounting / Finance or related fields
- Strong analytical skills
- Proficiency in Excel and Power BI are required
- Data management experience and the ability to manage large sets of data and accurate reports
- Good business acumen for problem solving
- Willingness to work extended hours during month end closing
- Self-motivated, higher level of flexibility and strong work ethic with the goal to get the job done
- Continuous Improvement: Identify process and control gaps and champion improvement initiatives through Practical Process Improvement (PPI)
